Gilmore Girls College is a unique environment. We are a relatively small, government girls’ school which offers academic challenge, individual care and a huge range of opportunities empowering young women to develop their potential.

Established in 1925, Gilmore College has a rich history of continuous development and innovation to meet the changing needs of girls' education. Today Gilmore is an academically focussed, technology rich, educational provider.

In 2005 Gilmore College was recognised and accepted into the Department of Education's Leading Schools' Fund. In 2006 the College was chosen by the Department of Education as a model for safe schools.

In January 2008 the new Learning Communities Centre opened. This new building was architect designed to provide an excellent facility for the Years 7 and 8 Program which features team teaching, integrated curriculum and the latest in Information and Communication Technology equipment.
